FNR Pearl Chair and Head of the Software Engineering RDI Unit at the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST), and Affiliate Professor at the University of Luxembourg.

Jordi has over 20 years of expertise in software modeling and model-based techniques. His research focuses on software modeling and low-code technologies, pragmatic formal model verification, the analysis of open source and open data communities, and the role AI can play in software development.

Before Luxembourg, he held research positions in Canada, Spain and France. He is the co-founder of two start-ups and the co-author of numerous open source tools, as well as the book Model-Driven Software Engineering in Practice ↗ and of How to Survive (and Thrive) in Research ↗.
